Services

At Lean Healthcare Specialists, we provide training first and foremost. Wether it is onsite, on-line or during the consulting process. We use a combination of lean manufacturing and six sigma tools with Human Factors Engineering principles to provde the customer with the most efficacious approach to improving processes and the patient experience.

Define and diagnose the root cause.
Establish a baseline for the identified cause.
Analyze the data investigating and confirming previous diagnosis or find new anomalies that lead to additional explanation(s) for the problem.

Implement course of action.
Gather measurements to ensure course of action was beneficial.
Adapt course when data suggest new course is indicated.
Ensure all written documentation is updated to reflect new process.

Lean Healthcare Consulting Rates:

We prefer to work on a per-diem basis, this provides you with paying for services that are directed at accomplishing your goals. We are outside consultants and therefore our pay does not need to be burdened with benefits, and we do not require space, computer access, phones service etc. Thus the rates are the only charges you will see.

Rates:

First visit one hour	$50
Document review and preparation	$20 per hour
Data analysis and formatting	$35 per hour
On site consulting and evaluation activities	$60 per hour

Training:

Lean Healthcare Specialists have developed specialized on-line training Lean Sigma courses for healthcare providers delivered to you in your home or office. As the name implies we have taken the best from Lean and Six Sigma and combined them specifically for healthcare. These courses are self paced, case based, applied practicle approach to learning.

There are three levels of courses and certification offered.:

Level 1 green belt certification provides the basic tools to allow the professional to implement improvement activities within their own department. Geared towards Nurses and other technicians. [Tuition is: $800.00 per person]
Level 2 black belt certification provides all of the gree belt level 1 training and adds the power of statistical analysis. Geared towards management/supervisors and Quality Assurance personnel. [Tuition is; $1600.00 per person]
Executive Training certification provides the background information and the basic understanding of how what and why. Training also includes brief review of Organizational Change and the importance of leadership. Geared to Physicians, Directors, Administrators etc.. [Tuition is: $2500.00 per person]

Tuition includes: All course materials, Case studies and assignments, Email contacts for 7 days per week assitance, Certificate and 6 months free phone consultation upto 12 calls.
